How it works
Dormiva is a self-fitting mandibular advancement device: two trays, one for your upper teeth and one for your lower teeth, that gently hold the lower jaw slightly forward while you sleep, which helps reduce the likelihood of snoring.
A latch adjustment marked at 1, 3 and 6 mm lets you set how far forward the lower jaw sits, to your own comfort, and holds that setting in a fixed position while you sleep.
Fit it at home in four steps
- Heat. Boiled water, 30 seconds at most. Then cold water, 3 seconds.
- Bite. Upper side on top. Bite down firmly for 20 to 25 seconds.
- Set. Check for teeth marks, then cool water for 2 minutes.
- Adjust. After molding only. One setting at a time, until it clicks.
Up to 3 molding attempts. Do not change the setting before molding. Follow the instructions for use in the box.
